Better Bus Services for Eynesbury
A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will deliver a new bus service for passengers in Eynesbury, connecting them with Melton by public transport.
We’ve already delivered a flexiride bus service for Melton South, connecting passengers to key destination hubs like Cobblebank Station, Melton Station, Woodgrove Shopping Centre, Melton Bus Interchange, and schools in Melton South and Thornhill Park.
Now we’ll make it even easier for locals to use public transport with a new bus service that will run between Eynesbury and Melton, helping locals get to where they need to go.
We’ve delivered a modern and sustainable bus network for Victorians, with almost half a billion dollars invested – delivering new or upgraded routes across our state.
We’ve delivered extra services, cleaner and smarter buses, and improved accessibility for bus passengers, giving them more options to travel to the shops and essential connections to healthcare and education.
This investment builds on the Labor Government’s announcement that Melton will be level crossing-free by 2028 – and, if re-elected, Labor will invest up to $650 million in the Melton Line Upgrade to increase passenger transport capacity for the community.
We’re also making our bus network more environmentally friendly and cutting carbon emissions.
By 2025, every new bus added to the fleet will be a zero emissions vehicle – so that leaving the car at home is an even greener choice.
Only Labor will deliver better bus services to get locals in Eynesbury and Melton home sooner and safer.
